Bhubaneswar : Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik reviews Covid situation and directs authorities to prepare all government & non-govt hospitals within 10 days through video conferencing , here on Tuesday.
Besides, CM said , ” we need to work in high speed to accomplish our target of preparing all government & non-govt hospitals to efficiently fight against third wave of Covid and at least we should be able to facilitate the adequate number of ICU and beds setup during the second wave of Covid , to refrain any untoward event.”
Besides, the state is witnessing a huge surge in Omicron variant of Covid cases and therefore we need to run campaigns promoting people of state to get vaccinated and also urged children aged 15 to 18 to take their Covid jab on time, said CM.
Further, looking forward to the situation, we need to be well prepared before time to fight against the deadly virus, he added.
