Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik reviewed Cyclone Fani situation; announes relief packages

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik announced ₹1,000 and one month of additional quota of rice and polythene to families covered under food security in parts of Khordha which is severely affected by #CycloneFani.

He announced that in other districts affected people will be privided one month additional pension, house building assistance of ₹95,100 for fully damaged, ₹5,200 for partially damaged, ₹3,200 for minor damaged houses. Completely damaged houses to be rebuilt expeditiously

Reviewing Cyclone Fani situation, CM Naveen Patnaik said Puri and part of Khordha have been extremely severely affected. He announced ₹2000 and 50kg of rice and polythene will be provided to all families covered under food security.

He announced ₹500 and one month additional quota of rice will be provided in Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack and Kendrapara districts which are moderately affected by #CycloneFani.
