Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik launched 5 new Online Services of Women and Child Development and Mission Shakti Department under 5-T initiatives

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik launched 5 new Online Services of Women and Child Development and Mission Shakti Department under 5-T initiatives, today through Video Conference. These online services are e-Kalika, Mo Chhatua App, e- Manadeya Portal, Mamata App and Mo Sisu Portal.

Chief Minister said that State Government has been giving priority on empowerment of women and welfare of children since last 20 years and for this, starting from reservation for women in Panchayati Raj Institutions to empowerment of 70 Lakh women have been effected through Mission Shakti Programme. Odisha is the only State in the entire country to introduce Nutrition budget, Hon’ble Chief Minister said.

Chief Minister further said that starting from Anganwadi to Women Self Help Groups, Crèches, Hostels for working women, Destitute Home and Child Care Institutions have been working to provide all sort of services to mothers and children. 5 online services launched today will be successful in providing qualitative services to beneficiaries in the changed situation, he said.

Minister, Women and Child Development Smt. Tukuni Sahu, Principal Secretary, WCD Department Smt. Anu Garg were present in the programme while Sri V. K. Pandian, Secretary to Hon’ble Chief Minister (5-T) moderated.
