Gopalpur: Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik inaugurates 5-day long Gopalpur Beach Festival. Playback singer Sonu Nigam was the star attraction on Day-1.
CM Naveen Patnaik also inaugurated a Paleeshree Mela and a Herbal Mela on the occasion. On the occasion, Pattnaik said Ganjam district has a number of tourist destinations including Gopalpur-on-sea which attract tourists from all over the world.
The other distinguished guests included Minister Ashok Panda, MP CS Sahu, MP Pramila Bisoyi, former Minister Pranab Prakash Das, MLAs Ramesh Chandra Jena, Latika Pradhan, Subash C Behera, Usha Devi, Manjula Swain, Bikram Panda and Suryamani Baidya, Vice-President Corporate Services, Tata Steel, Chanakya Choudhury, former Deputy Speaker Rama Chandra Panda, President of Zilla Parishad Ganjam Sonam Pallai and Chairperson of MO College Akash Dasnayak.
