Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik inaugurated mobile vision centres in 10 districts

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated mobile vision centres in 10 districts of Odisha to provide advanced eye treatment to the remotest. As part of SUNETRA programme, 53 permanent vision centres have been set up so far in 18 districts.

CM Naven Patnaik said, Odisha is the first state in the country to work on WHO’s pledge to eliminate avoidable blindness through improved health services. He added, digital technologies, like web-portal, mobile app, electronic medical report will be used for the Universal Eye Health programme
