Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has announced an Annual Award in the name of ‘Suraj’ of Ganjam district whose parents donated six vital organs of their braindead son to save lives of others. The award will motivate organ donors from the state and institutions that facilitate organ donations.
CM Naveen Patnaik met Suraj’s parents and highly appreciated their noble act saying that it will be an exemplary inspiration to society. CM announced an award of ₹5 lakh from CMRF in recognition for the inspiring act.
