Addressing newly appointed doctors, CM Naveen Patnaik urged them to work with commitment & ensure not a single person is deprived of health services. 1560 doctors appointed in last two days, taking total no. of doctors in Govt facilities to 6329 – 94% of total sanctioned strength
Expressing satisfaction over the appointments, he lauded it as a historic step for healthcare delivery in Odisha. Doctors joining the service thanked Chief Minister for attractive service provisions like the new restructured medical service cadre and assured promotions.
