Bhubaneswar : Chief Minister Naveen Pattanik distributed Covid assistance of Rs 5,000 each to around 64,214 particularly vulnerable tribal group ( PVTG) persons through virtual mode and appealed them to get themselves vaccinated in order to stay safe amid corona scare.
He also said that the pandemic has taken away the employment of many people but there is no need to panic as government is planning to bring forward employment opportunities for all. Besides, the government has also announced pre-matric scholarships to 60,000 scheduled caste and scheduled tribe students for April, May, and June.
