Bhubaneswar: The Annual Function of NIRMALA KRUTI VIKASH TRUST was celebrated at Jayadev Bhawan today. On this occasion the NIRMALA KRUTI SAMMAN – 2018 was awarded to eminent personalities. Dr. Kishanlal Agarwal, Chairman, Bharatiya Charitable Trust inaugurated the function. The Guests of honour Sri Sarat Kumar Das, Retired Principal Commissioner, Income Tax, Smt. Preet Roy, Principal KVS, Sri Nishikant Mishra, Chairman, Dream Team Sahara” and Dr. Harihar Hota, Chairman PG Council, Sri Jagannath Sanskrit University spoke on the occasion. Sri Guru Charana Das, Trustee NKBT presided over the meeting.
At the outset, Dr. Jagannath Acharya, Trustee elaborated the Annual Report. Er. Dillip Kumar Pattnaik, Chariman, NKBT spoke about the main thrust of the occasion. Dr. Tapan Kumar Chand, Chairman, NALCO, Dr. Kishanlal Agarwal, Chairman, Bharatia Charitable Trust and Sri Nishikant Mishra, Chairman, Dream Team Sahara were honoured with NIRMAL KRUTI SAMMAN – 2018 for contribution towards social service.
Dr. Harihar Hota, Sri Lalitendu Das, Director, Red Crab and Smt. Suchismita Prusty, Chairperson, LMBC were honoured for their contiution in the field of Education. Sri Santosh Nayak was awarded for contribution in Art.
Premier of “Sindoor”, the 3rd short film produced by NKBT was presented for screening and a new project named “Go – Sambhardana” was inaugurated by the esteemed guests.
A lavish cultural programme followed to end the celebration.
