Bhubaneswar: Odia director Nila Madhab Panda wins special mention for his Hindi movie ‘Kadvi Hawa’ at the 64th National Film Award.
Besides, two Odias Lipika Singh Darai and Sankhajeet De won awards in non-feature film categories. While Lipika’s film “The Waterfall” won best Educational film award, Sankhajeet’s film on shadow puppetry “In the Shadow of Time” won in best arts/ cultural film category.
Another film on Jagannath culture names “The Lord of The Universe” directed by young Shibu Prusty also has won best arts/cultural film award.
