In compliance with the instructions of Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development Minister Shri Kamal Patel, Indore division team of Agriculture Department conducted raids on seller of fake fertilizers, seeds and drugs in Khandwa. Minister Shri Patel has directed to register FIR against the companies who cheated farmers. He has also directed to take action of suspension against the officers involved in the illegal business of fake fertilisers, seeds and medicines.
Minister Shri Patel has informed that special task force will be formed at the district, divisional and state level to nab those dealing in fake fertilizers, seeds and medicines and to save farmers from fraud. He informed that information was received regarding tagging of fake seeds by Balaji Seeds, Pragati Agro Seeds and Uttam Seeds in Khandwa. On receiving the information, raids were conducted by sending a team of Indore divisional office to Khandwa.
Shri Patel informed that officers have been directed to ensure strict action as per rules against those involved in the business of fake medicines, fertilizers and seeds. He has directed to action and suspend the Deputy Director Agriculture, Seed Certification Officer etc. if found guilty of involvement in cooperating with the traders and businessmen involved in the illegal trade.
