Lanjibarna : These days, in view of the severe cold caused by the outbreak of cold wave, Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited Lanjibarna Limestone and Dolomite mines Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) department distributed blanket among the senior citizens of Lanjibarna areas. Outbreak of cold wave in Sundergarh district has started increasing nowadays. In view of the increasing cold outbreak, the company distributed blankets to about 500 senior citizens of Lanjibarna and Kheramuta villages.
This blanket distribution program was chaired by the president of Sangam Mahila Mandal, Sunita Gupta, Priyanka Baheti, Rosaline Raut and Tapan Kumar Nayak, senior manager of Lanjibarna Minas CSR department. The program was successfully concluded and for its smooth operation sarpanch Pushpa Kerketa of Khatang Grampanchayat and all ward members of Lanjibarna village extended their support.
On this occasion, Mrs. Gupta said that the company is committed to the progress of the people living in Lanjibarna region and till now the company has been with the people and in future will also be there.
On this occasion, Mrs. Priyanka Baheti and Rosaline Raut prayed to God for the good health and progress of the villagers and wished for a good relationship between the company and the village people. Pushpa Kerketa, sarpanch of Khatang Grampanchayat appreciated the nobel work of the company and wished that In coming days, with the help of the company and villagers development of Lanjibarna region will be strengthened further.
