Ketto joins hand with Pune Supergiants to extend support towards Indian Soldiers

Mumbai: Charity begins at home. After the Uri Attack, Ketto sprang into action as the news broke out of 18 soldiers laying down their lives for the country in the insurgency at Uri. Ketto decided to honor the martyrs and financially support their distraught families during this immensely difficult time, and raised over Rs 50 lakh through a special platform — ‘Support Soldiers’.

To further continue this support, Ketto recently joined hands with the renowned Supergiants by taking up initiatives which includes the soldiers, players and the fans.

This year both the parties paid tribute to the Indian army by urging the Pune Supergiants fans to join the movement and share their unique ways of paying Salami to the soldiers of the Indian army, which was successfully run through innovative digital media campaign called #SuperGiantsforSoldiers powered by Ketto.

Along with the social media campaign, the team will also be starting a fundraiser on Ketto to raise funds and create awareness for the PRC, Kirkee, Pune, a Rehabilitation Centre meant for the after care and rehabilitation of personnel’s of Defence forces of India who are medically boarded out i.e. retired form service due to spinal cord Injury while serving the nation. Players will also be personally visiting the PRC to show all the love and support these soldiers have received through the #SupergiantsForSoldiers initiative

Through this initiative, Ketto and Rising Pune Supergiants would also be sponsoring tickets for differently-abled soldiers from the PRC to watch one of the home matches of the IPL team. Kunal Kapoor, Bollywood actor and Co-founder of Ketto is also going to accompany these soldiers for the match.
