Report by Badal Tah; Rayagada, February 2: With yet another feather in the cap of awards, JK Paper Mills has bagged the prestigious “IPMA Paper Mill of the year 2017-18” Award. The award is given in recognition of the Indian paper mill which sets an example in the areas of productivity, quality, environmental consciousness, research and development, human resource development, besides striving to attain global competitiveness by the Indian Paper Manufacturers Association (IPMA), New Delhi.
The award was given on the occasion of the 19th Annual General meeting of IPMA during the Public Session held at Hotel Le Meridien, New Delhi. Honourable Union Minister of commerce Shri Suresh Prabhu graced this occasion as Chief Guest and presented the award. Mr P K Suri, Executive Vice President (Works) attended in the function and received the award. On this occasion other dignitaries namely Sri Harshpatji Singhnia, MD & Vice-Chairman, JK Paper Ltd and Sri A S Meheta, President-cum-Director, JK Paper Ltd were also present.
Mr Suri conveyed his best wishes to the employees and dedicated this award to them for their hard work. After receiving the award enthusiasm spread among the employees of JKPM and local denizens.
