Bhubaneswar: Sprinter Dutee Chand wins silver in 100m at Asian Games2018. Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik congratulates Dutee Chand on sprinting to glory with a Silver in 100m sprint at AsianGames2018.

Dutee Chand clocks 11.32 to finish 2nd and win Silver No. 10 for India in Women’s 100m Finals.  This is the first medal in 100m race by an Indian female athlete since PT Usha won in 1986
“Splendid performances by India’s daughters in athletics today. Heartiest Congratulations to @DuteeChand for bagging silver in the women’s 100m dash. The medal is even more special as this is the first medal in 100m race by an Indian female since 1986,” said Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Odisha Athletic Association (OAA) announces cash award of Rs 50,000 for Dutee Chand who won silver medal at Asian Games 2018.
