IFFCO’s Jyoti Ladies Club takes a step forward by supporting to terracotta community

New Delhi: A community development program was conducted today at Napanga, Rahama by Jyoti Ladies Club IFFCO Paradeep. The program was arranged by the Nilkantheshwar Self Help Group (SHG). The SHGs consist of aspiring terracotta artisans who are having a difficult lifestyle due to the onset of the pandemic. To give them a livelihood support , potter’s wheels were provided to them free of any cost. This will not only help them to learn traditional art but also they can earn from it.

The SHG asked IFFCO to provide the required help last month. Not only IFFCO but its Jyoti Ladies Club is also standing for the uplifting of the society whenever required. They are setting up an example by following the footsteps of the Prime Minister Modi’s mantra “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas” by everyone self-reliant that is “Atmanirvar Bharat” . During this Community Development Program organized by IFFCO following all Covid guidelines .

During this programme 10 Nos. Potter WheeIs had been distributed by Mrs Mamta Patel, President, Jyoti Ladies Club and other members Mrs Sashi Goyal, Mrs Mini Nilambhram, Mrs Singdha Nayak, Mrs Sandeepa Rath, Mrs Ruma Mangal Murty, Mr Pravat Kumar Das, Executive Officer, ORMAS, Jagatsinghpur, District, Shri Prasana Kumar Beura, IFFCO Assistant Manager, Mrs Baijaysnti Mohanty, Sarapanch, Pandua,Grama Panchayat, Mrs Manorama Das, Samiti Sabhya, Pandua G. P and Mr Nabaghan Behera, Trainer of Terracotta arcticians were present. It is now the talk of town how IFFCO is trying to reach every corner of the society be it Villages or cities to help those who need it, to make them Atma Nirbhar Bharat.
