Hyderabad: The Hyderabad 10k run foundation and Events now in association with Freedom Healthy Cooking Oils unveiled the official race T-shirts, finishers medals and team trophies for the ‘Freedom Hyderabad 10k Run 2019’ powered by ACT Fibernet. The Freedom Hyderabad 10K will be held on 24th November 2019, at Peoples Plaza, Necklace Road, Hyderabad. This year the run is based on the theme ‘#My City My Run’ ‘#RunToBeFree’ with a motive to bring the city together for a common cause irrespective of socioeconomic status of populace, promote health, fitness and sports among the people & drive home the idea that ‘Every Step Counts’ and encourage them to live a happy and healthy life.and encourage them to live a happy and healthy life.
The Hyderabad 10K Run is one of the oldest and also one of the biggest running events in South India. A run is an annual event held on the last Sunday of November every year. The 2019 Season will be the 17th edition of Freedom Hyderabad 10k run. The race will have 5 primary categories, Elite 10K Run, Open 10K Run with Timing chip, Open 5K Run, SHE and the Family Run. The Elite 10K run will be open to professionals who have completed the 10K run in 35 min (men) and 40 min (women) in the last 1 year. The Freedom Family Run, encourages families to run together and adopt a healthy habit and SHE5, A New category introduced this year encouraging our women to participate in this 5KM Run in large numbers and support Women’s Education, Empowerment, Safety, Health, and Pride which we believe makes’ them UNSTOPPABLE, is receiving a fantastic response.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Murali Nannapaneni, Race Director, Freedom Hyderabad 10K Run, said: “We are truly excited about Freedom Hyderabad 10K Run. The race will start at People’s Plaza and cover the distance all around Hussain Sagar Lake, and conclude at People’s Plaza. There is a significant contribution raised by the magnanimous city of Hyderabad for the various causes promoted by our cause partner Surge Impact. We are confident that the event will receive a fantastic response in Hyderabad and the city will be buzzing with the spirit of Hyderabad on 24th November.
