Bhubaneswar: Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) has decided to give free rides to all women passengers travelling in MoBus on International Women’s Day on March 8. “On the occasion of International Women’s Day, women can avail a free ride in MoBus. There will be no charge for them on that day,” said Dipti Mahapatro, General Manager, CRUT.
We are happy to share that we had been pioneers in promoting lady guides as part of our workforce since our inception. More than 30% guides are lady guides who are serving and empowering the favourite public transport brand “MO BUS” in the Capital Region.
With a vision to provide excellence in public transit service and strive for continuous improvement of the Capital Region’s transportation system, CRUT is committed to redefining “The Way We Move”, by providing mobility options to the residents that will support a more sustainable future for all. CRUT has expanded the definition of public transit to integrate multimodal alternatives for residents and visitors with its new team of experts representing the domains of transportation planning, technology, operations, and communications. Currently we are having a fleet of 200 buses equipped with free Wi-Fi, clean & technologically advanced equipment.
