Rourkela: EMIL in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society, Sundargarh District Branch and Blood Banks of Keonjhar and Rourkela organized the Mega Blood Donation Camp on December 19 and 21, 2018 at Kadodiha and Jilling respectively.
Mr Prasanna Kumar Panda, Senior President & Unit Head, EMIL inaugurated the Jilling Camp where 182 units of blood were collected. The Kadodiha camp that could collect 102 units of blood was inaugurated by the Sarpanch, Koira Ms. Sandhyarani Naik in the presence of the Tahsildar, Koira Mr. Duryodhan Bhoi and ended with the valedictory address by the BDO, Koira Mr. Ramesh Hansda. The units of blood collected in both the camps are the highest in the area in a single camp.
Head, Medical Service of EMIL, Dr. Ranjan Lenka and Senior Consultant Dr. Sashibhusan Nepal along with EMIL Medical Team and members of Blood Bank conducted the camp.
