New Delhi: Coronavirus cases reach 523 in Delhi, with 20 fresh cases being reported in the last 24 hours including 10 attendees of TablighiJamaat event at Nizamuddin. One person died of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, total deaths stand at 7. This is informed by the Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.
We have ordered 1 lakh testing kits which are expected to be delivered by Friday says CM Arvind Kejriwal. “We were requesting Central govt for PPE kits, today we have received their letter. Centre has allotted 27,000 PPE kits for Delhi. I want to thank Central Govt on everyone’s behalf,” says CM Arvind Kejriwal.
Now that we have testing kits, we have started testing people on a large scale. Earlier we were testing125 people daily. Since 1st April, we are testing 500 people. We are aiming to test at least 1000 people daily says CM Arvind Kejriwal.
