Cuttack: Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik lays foundation stone for Odisha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, to be set up with the help of Tata Trust in Barang. Tata Group Chairman Emeritus Ratan Tata present at the venue.
Health Minister Pratap Jena, Cuttack MP Bhartuhari Mahtab was present on this ocassion.
Odisha Government has provided land free of cost for the cancer hospital to be set up at Baranga with all modern facilities on the lines of the Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai .
The Tata Trusts will set up an apex Cancer Treatment & Research Hospital at Bhubaneswar on lines of Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai & Acharya Harihar Regional Cancer Centre, Cuttack will be upgraded as apex comprehensive cancer care centre.
