CM Chouhan of Madhya Pradesh holds brainstorming about corona prevention measures

Bhopal: Brainstorming held under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan turned out to be very fruitful and important. The future strategy of the state will be made on the basis of the guidance and suggestions received, through which the possible effects of the third wave of Corona will be neutralized. The development of the state will be accelerated and various public welfare schemes and programmes will be implemented.

After a brainstorming session with Chief Minister Shri Chouhan at Ichhawar, Sehore today, the Cabinet members expressed their views.

Finance Minister Shri Jagdish Deora

Finance Minister Shri Jagdish Deora said that today’s brainstorming session led by Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was very fruitful. During the Corona period, there was a decrease in revenue in the state but the essential expenses were not curtailed. Today there was a brainstorming on how to increase the income of the Madhya Pradesh government, how to promote agriculture and industry and how to increase employment opportunities. Discussion was also held on how to ensure effective implementation of government schemes and to take them to everyone.

Revenue and Transport Minister Shri Govind Singh Rajput

Revenue and Transport Minister Shri Govind Singh Rajput said that due to Corona, revenue generation in the state has been adversely affected. Efforts will be made to increase revenue, while taking care not to put any additional burden on the public. A massive Corona vaccination campaign will be launched on July 1, 2 and 3. With the aim of providing quality education in every village, CM Rise schools will be opened. Intensive efforts will be made to increase employment in the state.

Medical Education Minister Shri Vishwas Sarang

Medical Education Minister Shri Vishwas Sarang said that Madhya Pradesh government has almost got complete control over Corona under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Chouhan. All possible efforts will be made to ensure that there is no third wave in Madhya Pradesh. People are being made aware to follow the Corona protocol and that everyone adopts Corona appropriate behaviour. Madhya Pradesh model of Corona control has been appreciated across the country. Corona has been successfully overcome with active public cooperation. It has become a mass movement. Crisis management groups formed at the state, district, block and village level have played a commendable role in Corona control, and they will continue to work. The identification of Corona patients and their prompt treatment will continue under the Kill Corona campaign. covid Care Centers will continue to operate where needed. Intensive Corona testing will continue. Health institutions will be strengthened in the entire state. For this, the scheme will be prepared not only district wise but health institution wise. Arrangement for increase of beds, ICU beds, ventilator, oxygen etc. will be ensured. Along with oxygen supply, its production will also be ensured. In view of the possibility of children being affected in the third wave of Corona, special attention will be paid to creation of children’s ward, ICU. etc. Health workers will be given specific training for the treatment of children. All necessary medicines will be supplied. Integrated use of Allopathy, Ayurveda, Homeopathy medical systems will be done for the treatment. A massive vaccination campaign will be launched on coming July 1, 2, 3. Vaccine is the most effective and final weapon in the fight against Corona. Vaccines will be administered in the entire Madhya Pradesh.

Minister of MSME, Science and Technology Shri Omprakash Sakhlecha

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Science and Technology Minister Shri Omprakash Sakhlecha said that the action plan of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh would be implemented expeditiously after control over the second wave of Corona infection under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Chouhan. In this brainstorming, many topics like development of Madhya Pradesh, public welfare schemes etc. were discussed. Special emphasis is being laid on micro, small and medium industries in the state. We have got 11 clusters from the Centre, which have different activities in different districts. We started 1902 new industries in the state last April and 3 thousand industries will be started in 42 districts of the state in the month of August. This will give more and more employment opportunities to the youth.

Cooperatives and Public Service Management Minister Shri Arvind Singh Bhadoria

Cooperatives and Public Service Management Minister Shri Arvind Singh Bhadoria said that Corona is almost under complete control in the state under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The Madhya Pradesh model of Corona control through public participation was appreciated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and it was adopted in other states also. There was a fruitful brainstorming today on how to effectively take the government schemes to the lowest strata. The Cooperatives department will work to promote local products in different districts of the state through primary cooperative societies with an amount of about Rs 70 crore.

Energy Minister Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar

Energy Minister Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar said that today there has been a brainstorming on the roadmap of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. He said that we are grateful to Chief Minister Shri Chouhan that his government has become a support to the poor in times of calamity. An action plan is being prepared for the upbringing of destitute children during this calamity. Shri Tomar said that about 98 lakh electricity consumers in the state are getting 100 units of electricity for Rs. 100. He said that subsidy is being given to farmers and general consumers to provide electricity at affordable rates. There has been brainstorming regarding the all-round development of the state and to provide benefits of schemes to the people on time.

Technical Education, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Smt. Yashodhara Raje Scindia

Minister for Technical Education, Sports and Youth Welfare, Smt. Yashodhara Raje Scindia said that detailed discussion took place in the brainstorming related to providing employment to the youth. He said that it is necessary to conduct workshops to keep the employment officers updated. Suggestions were also made for imparting training in new technologies in ITIs, training of self-help groups and setting up a unit of skill development in big industries. He said that Madhya Pradesh is moving towards turning into a logistics hub, which will help to increase employment opportunities. For this the youth need to be trained from now itself.

Higher Education Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav

Higher Education Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that today there was discussion regarding the works to be done to create new records of development in Madhya Pradesh. He said that apart from starting building construction work in more than 50 colleges, employment oriented courses are also being started. One professor each in all districts, has been made the nodal officer for necessary action regarding employment. Dr. Yadav said that universities are also being given autonomy to start medical and other employment oriented courses. ‘Yuva Shakti-Corona se Mukti’ campaign will be run across the state.

Mineral, Resources and Labour Minister Shri Brijendra Pratap Singh

Mineral, Resources and Labour Minister Shri Brijendra Pratap Singh said that Chief Minister Shri Chouhan gave an open forum and discussed various topics, during which there was a discussion regarding the possible third wave of Corona. He said that Shri Chouhan is the first Chief Minister who pays equal attention to both the present and future. Shri Singh said that revenue collection was also discussed, for which forming a Cabinet group was discussed. He said that we have full faith that our state will definitely progress under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Chouhan.

Minister of State for School Education (Independent Charge) and General Administration Shri Inder Singh Parmar

Minister of State for School Education (Independent Charge) and General Administration Shri Inder Singh Parmar said that there was a discussion on CM Rise School. In the coming year, we will start 350 fully equipped schools in the first phase at district and block level. Arrangements will also be made for children’s transportation. He said that efforts are being made to provide advanced education under the National Education Policy.

Minister of State for AYUSH (Independent Charge) and Water Resources, Shri Ramkishore ‘Nano’ Kanwre

Minister of State for AYUSH (Independent Charge) and Water Resources, Shri Ramkishore ‘Nano’ Kanwre said that Chief Minister Shri Chouhan must be lauded for the promptness with which work has been done in dealing with Corona in Madhya Pradesh. He said that in the brainstorming, discussions were held regarding dealing with the possible third wave of Corona. Along with this, there was an intense discussion on the roadmap of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. Shri Kanwre informed that Trikatu churna was distributed by the AYUSH department to avoid Corona.
