New Delhi: Indian Railways always recognize the dedicated work that Railway men are doing 24×7 for safe & secure journey of esteemed passengers. Shri Ashwani Lohani, Chairman, Railway Board awarded Shri Krishna Prashad, Technician, North Central Railways at Rail Bhavan today (i.e. 16th September, 2017) in presence of Board Members & General Managers.
Shri Krishna Prashad, Technician (C&W)/Allahabad Division/North Central Railway while working at Allahabad Station on rolling out examination duty on 10th September 2017, detected broken bolster spring in coach no.15268 NF WGSCN of train No.12505-North East Express. He immediately arranged stoppage of the train through VHF, got replaced the damaged coach and the train departed safely for its destination.
For his dedication to duty, alertness, keen observation and promptness which has averted a serious accident. In the presence of all the Board Members and GMs, Shri Ashwani Lohani, Chairman, Railway Board, presented letter of appreciation & a cheque of Rs.5000/-, to Shri Krishna Prashad as a token of appreciation.
