The bus carrying around 40 stranded migrants from Hyderabad to Banki met with an accident on NH 16 near Kuhudi in the district.
While the exact cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that the bus rammed into a fruit-laden truck after the driver lost control over the wheels. Tangi fire services personnel rushed to the spot and rescued the passengers. 10 injured persons have been admitted to Tangi hospital.
