Bhubaneswar: The BJP on Sunday alleges BJD gaining political mileage from Asian Athletics Meet . BJP targeted the state government over use of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s photo in the advertisement of the athletics meet to be held at Kalinga Stadium here.
Party alleged the State Government was using the event for political campaigning by printing the image of Chief Minister Patnaik on the advertisements. The State Government was trying to make political gain from sports, added BJP general secretary Prithiviraj Harichandan.
Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram accused the State Government of confining the Asian Athletics meet to its coterie and others are being kept away from it. Meanwhile Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan likely to attend inauguration of Asian Athletics meet.
