Bhubaneswar: Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA), has bagged the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) 2018 award for being the “Best Airport”.
BPIA Director Suresh Chandra Hota on Sunday said the airport has been chosen as the best under 2 to 5 million passengers category for 2018.
Three airports of India have been awarded as best airports (Under 2 to 5 million passengers in Asia-Pacific region). Besides the BPIA, the Chandigarh Airport and the Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport (Indore) have also been awarded in this category. The 2nd ACI Customer Experience Global Summit was held in Bali, Indonesia recently.
This award is accorded on the basis of independent survey among passengers on various parameters like security, safety, experience, ambience, ease of availability and cleanliness. The BPIA has been achieved the prestigious award for a second consecutive time.
