Bhubaneswar: OBC Commission Amendment Bill 2020 passed in Odisha Assembly. In a historic move, this August House has resolved to amend the Odisha State Commission for Backward Classes Act, 1993 to enable the Commission to make survey of the social & educational conditions of the people belonging to the backward classes says CM Naveen Patnaik. Odisha will conduct survey of backward classes population even as the Centre will not do it along with the general census- 2021 as the state assembly on Monday passes the Odisha State Commission for Backward classes (amendment) Bill.
