Bhubaneswar: ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India), Odisha Facility provided grocery kits in Bhubaneswar to help the sum dwellers, daily wagers, garbage pickers and sanitation workers.
The company also distributed grocery kits at the slum areas at Jaydev Vihar, Mancheswar, Kharavela Nagar, Chandrasekharpur, Jharapara and Kalinga Vihar.
Sri T S Shanbhogue, Executive director, AM/NS India, Odisha Facility said: “The company always finds the way to help out the poor and needy people during the covid-19 pandemic and try to provide basic requirements to such people in the city who are struggling to both ends meet”.
The company also distributed grocery kits, hygienic products like sanitizer, soap to poor people at Paradeep and Dabuna and is closely working with the communities at Paradip and Dabuna in Keonjhar to combat the widespread outbreak of Coronavirus.

AM/NS India and HMEL (A partnership between Hindustan Petroleum and Mittal Energy Investments) had contributed Rs 100 crore to Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situation Fund (PM-CARES] for the ongoing relief efforts countrywide.
