AMRI Hospitals Bhubaneswar observes National Fire Safety Week & Fire Mock Drill 

Bhubaneswar: AMRI Hospitals Bhubaneswar observes a week long National fire safety week 14th ~ 20th April. A series of programme aimed at spreading awareness about fire safety was organised by the hospital as a part of the celebration.

Expressing the importance of observing National Fire Service Week, Ms Nilanjana Mukherjee, Vice President & Unit Head, AMRI Hospitals Bhubaneswar, said “Safety is an integral part of AMRI Hospital’s work culture. All of us should make effort to make AMRI Hospitals a safest work place. Not only during this Fire safety week, but throughout the year, AMRI Hospitals Bhubaneswar is conducting the fire mock drill”.

Shri Ramesh Chandra Majhi, Principal, Odisha Fire safety and disaster response academy (OFDRA) graced the valedictory session of the week-long celebration and observed the fire mock drill by the employees of AMRI Hospitals. Mr. Majhi mentioned that, people from other states are coming to Odisha for receiving the quality fire training. He praised the employees of the hospital for the active participation in the fire mock drill. Around 200 employees of the hospital has participated in the training session.

During the week-long celebration a host of activities were conducted, such as fire prevention training, fire mock drill, poster competition, awareness programmes and quiz competition.

Shri Santosh Kumar Prusti,  Head, Fire and safety department explained the importance of fire service week and also thanked to the employees of AMRI Hospitals for the support and cooperation for organising the week long programme successfully.
