Bhopal : The 61st Foundation Day of Madhya Pradesh will be celebrated this year with pride and grandeur. The future of Madhya Pradesh and the roadmap of development will be presented before the citizens. Programmes based on Madhya Pradesh Vikas Yatra will be organized in all the districts. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan issued instructions to all ministers and departmental heads to determine activities of their respective departments and prepare the roadmap of development.
Shri Chouhan issued directions to keep Madhya Pradesh clean, free of corruption, terrorism and poverty on the 61st foundation day of the state and determine priorities on the basis of these resolutions. He instructed to focus on women empowerment, quality education, simple trade, drinking water, power in every house, doubling farmers’ income, bovine protection, cashless transaction etc. He told to form a team of senior officers and the Cabinet members for each area. These teams will prepare the map and strategy for development of particular areas.
Giving instructions to complete entire roadmap by October 15, Shri Chouhan told to include the best efforts and processes adopted by other states in the country. This entire roadmap will be then presented before the Cabinet on October 17 and after giving final shape to it, it will be dedicated to the public on November 1 on the foundation day of the state.
Shri Chouhan said that the foundation day of Madhya Pradesh should become a public movement and not be restricted to a one-day activity or formality. Every citizen should be connected to it. The celebration of the foundation ceremony will go on for a week. For this a team led by Finance Minister Shri Jayant Malaiya, Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Archana Chitnis, Revenue Minister Shri Umashankar Gupta and School Education Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah will be constituted. A joint team comprising Additional Chief Secretary Higher Education, Shri B.R. Naidu, Principal Secretary Culture Shri Manoj Shrivastava and Principal Secretary School Education Smt. Dipti Gaud Mukherji has also been constituted to assist the ministerial team.
Ladli Lakshmi Sammelan on Rajmata Scindia’s birthday
CM Shri Chouhan said that on the coming October 12, which happens to be Late Rajmata Scindia’s birth anniversary, Ladli Lakshmi Sammelan will be organized in the entire state. Shri Chouhan instructed all ministers and senior officials to take part in the sammelans being organized in the districts to double the income of farmers. These sammelans are going on since September 15 and will continue till October 15. He said that the officials and ministers should take part in these sammelans between October 7 and 15 at least once.
Employment fairs for youths
CM Shri Chouhan told that self-employment and skill fairs will be organized for youths all over the state from November 11 to 30. Women self-help-group sammelans will be organized in the state from December 1 to February 15, 2018. Sammelans to promote cashless transactions will be organized from December 16 to 31. Special campaign will be launched to connect with central insurance schemes.
Shri Chouhan said that Vikas Yatras will be taken out from November 1 to November 30. He appealed to all ministers and public representatives to take part in the Vikas Yatras. The second phase of these yatras will be organized from June 1 to June 30, 2018.
Rajgarh district excels in Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana
Shri Chouhan congratulated Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Shri Gopal Bhargav and Rajgarh district minister in charge Smt. Yashodhara Raje Scindia on Rajgarh district obtaining the first position in the country in the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana. Nearly 10, 434 houses have been constructed in the district. Similarly Madhya Pradesh is first in the housing construction in the country. Nearly one lakh 71 thousand 605 houses have been constructed in the state.
It was told on the occasion that Gwalior is on top since ten days in rural cleanliness. Shri Chouhan said that cleanliness activities will begin from Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary on October 2. On this day freeing the cities from open defecation will be declared.
Shri Chouhan congratulated Indian Women’s hockey team and Sports Minister Smt. Yashodhara Raje Scindia and extended best wishes to the players for their future.
Among those present on the occasion were all Cabinet members, Chief Secretary Shri B.P Singh, Director General of Police Shri R.K. Shukla and all departmental heads.
