Students of O.P. Jindal School, Celebrates Teacher’s Day

Angul: The students of O.P. Jindal School (OPJS) situated at Jindal Nagar celebrated the 55th Teacher’s Day today by paying floral tribute to the Master of Masters Dr. S. Radhakrishnan. On this occasion Mr. Alok Malhotra, Head-HR&ES attended the celebration as Chief-Guest and lighted the lamp in presence of School Principal Mr. Chhanda Charan Das, Teachers and other staff members.

Attending the celebration, Mr. Alok Malhotra, advised the students to be remained grateful to the teachers who are working hard for the success of their students and said, “Teachers, are the backbone of every nation and it is proved that a successful nation always filled with noble teachers”.

Remembering the indelible marks of the illustrious philosopher and teacher of all time the School Principal, Dr. Imran Perwaiz, Students and Other staff members attributed Dr. S. Radhakrishnan as a great statesman of all time in their respective speeches. The students of OPJS had innovative cultural presentation in the form of Speech, Recitation, Group-song, Skit and Group-dance on the theme of prevailing system of Education and Teacher-learner relationship.

The teachers of OPJS were warmly felicitated in the welcome session by the students with great eclat and the vote of thanks was accorded by Miss. Upasana Swain, student Council Member of the school. Miss Anushka Pareek and Aditya Singh Rai from Students Council co-ordinated the programme.

Senior teacher Mrs. Sangeeta Sharma, Coordinated the programme and accorded vote of thanks.
