Tirupati: Zoomcar, India’s first 100% self-drive car rental company, today launched its services in Tirupati. Known as the city of Tirupati-Balaji, the company saw a large traction of tourists demanding for self-driven cars in the city. In the span of 4 years, Zoomcar has successfully achieved 30+ lakh happy customers, 10+ lakh trips and 3000 cars under its fleet.
Within few days of its operations in Tirupati, the company has completed around 300 successful rides in the city. The company has 25 cars in Tirupati, ranging from Hatchback – Ford Figo, Maruti Swift, Honda Jazz and SUVs – Ford Ecosport, Hyundai Creta, Mahindra Scorpio and plans to add luxury segment. Being an official self-drive partner with Andhra Pradesh Tourism, Zoomcar is targeting a large audience from tourists, and students who travel from various cities to visit the very famous Tirumala Temple, Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple, ISKCON Tirupati, nearby destinations like Kalahasti and Kancheepuram and business travellers to Nellore and Chennai. The Tirupati office has a 5-member strong team managing the day to day operations to deliver the cars to the customers from anywhere in the city. As part of its geographical expansion in the Southern market, the company is planning to launch its operations in many more cities.
