Bhubaneswar: Tata Steel, Gopalpur and MD, Tata Steel SEZ Arun Misra was elected as the Chairman of CII Odisha State Council for the year 2018-19.
CEO, Adani Dhamra Port Company Subrat Triphaty was elected as Vice-Chairman of the council, while Resident Director, Jindal Stainless SS Upadhyay and Managing Director, Brahmani River Pellets GV Kiran were elected as the Chairman of CII North Odisha Zonal Council and Vice-Chairman of the Zonal Council, respectively.
A seminar on “Opportunity Odisha: Invest in Development” was held. Industries Minister Anant Das Principal Secretary Sanjeev Chopra and Additional Chief Secretary, Department of MSME LN Gupta were present.
On the occasion, Minister Das congratulated the new office-bearers and assured full support to the CII in all its activities. The technical session was moderated by outgoing Chairman, CII Odisha and CMD, Nalco Dr T K Chand and the panelists were Director and Chief Executive Officer, Adani Dhamra Port Company Limited Subrat Tripathy, Chairman, MAGNUM Group Ramesh Mahapatra and Regional CEO, Apollo Hospitals Sudhir M Diggikar.
