New Delhi: The audience was enthralled by an enchanting Odissi dance performance by the students of Madhumita Raut and the legendary Padmashri Guru Mayadhar Raut at the Jagannath Temple in Hauz Khas, Delhi on July 1. The program was inaugurated by Mridula Pradhan wife of PNG Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
The dances on Jagannath Bhajans were presented by Sonam Samal, Nitya Pant, Dr. Priyanka Venkateswaran, Vasundhra Chopra, Jayanti Chakraborty and Ankita Nayak and Naimisha Pradhan (Daughter of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan). Smt Mridula Pradhan graced the occasion and felicitated the artists. A devotee of lord Jagannath and a lover of Odia culture, Mridula Pradhan wished all on the occasion of Rath Yatra and Bahuda Yatra celebrations.
