Bhubaneswar : Spic Macay, Odisha chapter is organizing Yamini 2019, the annual overnight classical music concert which hosts eminent dignitaries from the world of classical music. The official announcement-meet for the same was organized at Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar on 31st October 2019 which was presided by Dr Kiran Seth, Founder, Spic Macay.
The event highlighted how Spic Macay being a voluntary movement has sustained itself in a society where everything has a business perspective. Dr Kiran Seth also talked about the objective of having Yamini as an overnight event, how the event has been vigilantly curated to start in the evening and conclude by the next morning. He emphasized on the significance of ‘Brahma Mahurat’ when the concentration of participants is the highest and described the
experience as ‘uplifting’.
Xavier University, Bhubaneswar will also host Vidushi Padma Talwalkar for Hindustani Vocal while Dr Kiran Seth will give a talk on 1st November 2019.
This year the classical Overnight ‘Yamini’ will be held in the Institute of Physics on 2nd November 2019.
