Bhubaneswar: Suspended Special DGP Rajesh Das convicted and sentenced to three years imprisonment by Chief Judicial Magistrate, Villupuram in connection with sexual harassment of a woman IPS officer two years ago.
The woman IPS officer filed a complaint against the senior officer in February 2021. The AIADMK government had suspended Das and constituted a six-member committee to investigate.
