New Delhi: Launched in September 2019 Teen Pateela, a Delhi based food outlet, part of the Café Turtle group is hosting a Punjabi Pickle Festival from 26th Feb to 10th March. It is located at Meharchand Market, Lodhi Road. Going by its name, Teen Pateela provides simple and traditional Punjabi fare – only 3 dishes, ‘Dal Ferozepuri, Punjabi Aloo, and Paneer of the day’. Teen Pateela, offers simple and delicious food using farm-fresh vegetables, pure spices and healthy recipes that have been passed down the generations which are the key to its inception. Pickle enthusiasts can relish a diverse range of pickles made by home chef.
The quirky spirit of Teen Pateela is reflected in creative culinary creations from chefs, and farmers who hail from across the region and beyond. The Pickles that will be showcased in the festival are prepared in traditional Punjabi culinary style and has a distinct character and aroma attached to it. Teen Pateela’s Pickle Festival will offer a wide range of natural pickles, ranging from lemon, carrot, ginger, haldi to green chilies, which really takes the culinary experience to the next level. The icing on the cake will be their appetizing ‘Balle Balle Salsa’ flavoured made from tomatoes, onions, jalapenos, and lemons. With Teen Pateela’s three core dishes and it’s pickle paradise, one can mix and match to relish simple, delicious and flavourful food at this Punjabi pickle festival.
