Dhenkanal: Pushpanjali Panda gets this years prestigious Dr. Radhanath Rath Fellowship while Dharini Mudgal gets this year’s Satya Mohapatra Fellowship. These fellowships are awarded to students of Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), Dhenkanal for the meritorious students of Odia Journalism and English Journalism. It carries a certificate and Rs 10,000 in cash. Dr. Radhanath Rath award was instituted on 2002 by Professor Nilakantha Rath, son of Rdhanath Rath, the legendary editor of Samaja. Satya Mahapatra Fellowship was instituted by the daughters of Mahapatra on 2016. Satya Mahapatra was Editor of Odia daily Dinalipi and an erudite author.
