Bhubaneswar: Odisha Governor Prof. Ganeshi Lal lauds the successful experiment of Umakant Kaudi to grow apples in hot & arid climate in the village of Gambharimunda of Kuchinda sub division of Sambalpur district and hopes the experiment will expose the tribal communities to a whole new world of horticulture.
It should be noted that Three brothers in Sambalpur district have successfully grown Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh variety apple in their five-acre land. They are Tankadhar, Rankadhar and Umakant Kaudi of Gambhirmunda (Bhojpur) village.
