Odisha-based tea brand ‘Pama Tea’ launched

Bhubaneswar: In order to provide an edge to the tea market in Odisha, Bhubaneswar based company Pama Infosolutions Pvt. Ltd. today announced the launch of Pama Tea. This new packaged product was unveiled by Bhubaneswar Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena and Ollywood actress Anu Choudhury along with Paranaya Kumar Mahapatra, the Managing Director of Pama Infosolutions at the IDCOL auditorium in Bhubaneswar.
The manufacturing unit is situated in Chandaka with a production capacity of 2500 kilo of tea per day. The raw materials are procured from the North East, mainly from Darjeeling. Pama Tea is currently being launched in 8 districts in the first phase namely Khordha, Cuttack, Puri, jagatsingpur, Nayagarh, Balasore, Ganjam, Keonjhar, Gajapati and Bhadrak. It will be availabe in 5 different pack sizes of 50 gm, 100gm, 250gm, 500 gm and 1 kg pack worth ‘240.

More than 90% of people begin their day with a cup of tea and in the name of branding, many well-known brands charge exorbitant prices for a premium quality taste. After months of travelling and research, we have come up with Pama Tea with a promise of similar quality and taste at an affordable price. The packaging unit installed is according to the guidelines that help ensure the product’s freshness and longer shelf-life. With the help of our R&D team, we will soon launch different varieties of tea in the market as well”, said Pranaya Kumar Mahapatra
The Founder of the company is Pramoda Mahapatra (Pama) on whom the company name is based. Lipsa Rani Mahapatra, Barada Prasanna Tripathy, Manas kumar Mohapatra and the M.D Pranaya Kumar Mahapatra form the directorial board.
