Kaniha: Vigilance Awareness Week is being observed at NTPC Talcher Kaniha from October 30 to November 4,2017.This year, the vigilance awareness week theme is “My vision –Corruption Free India ”.
During the inaugural day of the Vigilance Awareness week, employees gathered at Administrative Building of the power station. On the occasion Shri AK Tripathy,GM(O&M) administrated the pledge . Later employees took e-pledge by login into the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) website.
During the weekly celebration, Vigilance Dept. of the power station plans to conduct various activities like debate ,slogan competition ,Quiz competition ,elocution among school students, housewives, employees, HOD’s, workshop on preventive vigilance among employees , inter school debate competition & poster competition for school children.
To observe the Vigilance Awareness Week in a befitting way, the power station has organised Street play for creating awareness on anti-corruption , a Gram Sabha on Vigilance awareness was held at Bhimkand village,during which popular film on anti corruption was screened during the gram sabha.
Essay & Debate Competition was organised at various schools and colleges of Kaniha block and Talcher. Quiz completion for employees and debate competition for HODs, workshop on preventive vigilance was also held for employees.Debate Competition was also organised members of Tanvi Sangam.The vigilance awareness week will be observed till November 4,2017.
Banners/posters on Vigilance Awareness Week celebration were displayed at prominent locations of the power station for wider dissemination.
