The National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) has taken suo moto cognizance of a news report alleging that the Karnataka Government misused funds allocated under the Karnataka Scheduled Caste Sub Plan (SCSP) and Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) for implementing Five Guarantees Schemes. The commission has requested a detailed report on the matter within seven days.
