Bhubaneswar: Utkal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI) is the apex chamber in the state of Odisha comprising of 3 sectors of economy i.e, industry, trade and services. UCCI organized a mega exhibition, UCCI Expo-2017, on 1st April 2017 at IDCO Exhibition Ground, Bhubaneswar which will be a 4 day affair with lots of entertainment.
Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Radha Mohan Singh graced the event as chief guest and Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan inaugurated the event.
Sri Ramesh Mahapatra emphasized that it has been decided to showcase not only the industrial prowess of Odisha in the exhibition but also offer a platform for the MSMEs and Startups the potential of their products. It would also provide a platform to understand the industrial ecosystem of the State and various initiatives by the Government of Odisha on ease of doing business and making Odisha as a preferred destination for investors and FDI.
Luminaries of the State with outstanding career profile were felicitated during the opening ceremony. Awards in different categories for mega to MSME industries were instituted and were given during the inaugural and ceremony.

Besides, seminars and cultural prorammes were held during the event. Bollywood singer, Krishna Beura was the star attraction for today’s event. And following the 3 days the cultural program will consist Odissi Dance, Gotipua Dance, Musical night Bollywood artists, Bands and much more.
A multi-cuisine food court, tribal products by the ORMAS and musical extravaganza were major attractions.
