New Delhi :Powers of Special Executive Magistrates has been granted by the Department of Law and Legislative Affairs to officers of other services also in addition to the officers of the revenue service cadre to work as Sector Magistrates to conduct the three-tier panchayat general election-2022. A proposal was sent by the districts to confer the powers of the Special Executive Magistrate to the officers of other services.
