Madhya Pradesh Public Works Minister says “Strong infrastructure will fulfill the goal of self-reliance”

Bhopal: The virtual meeting of the Infrastructure Group of Council of Ministers constituted under Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh was held under the chairmanship of Public Works Minister Gopal Bhargav. Minister Shri Bhargav said that the goal of self-reliance would be fulfilled through strong infrastructure in the state. He said that the work has been started in mission mode after fixing the targets by the group. Better results will also come soon.

Minister Shri Bhargav said that Madhya Pradesh is the first state to fulfill the objective of Atmanirbhar Bharat. Through this, work has been started by setting the goal of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh, under which the schemes of road, water, electricity and irrigation will be made self-funded. For this, suitable suggestions are being given by the group to the state government.

Principal Secretary Public Works Department Shri Neeraj Mandloi informed that the following works are being started on priority for the purpose of developing an Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. Goal has been set under the Mission Nirman, of laying a web of physical infrastructure, quality education for all in compliance with New Education Policy-2020 under Mission Bodhi, health for all under Mission Niramay, increase in Gross Domestic Product of the state under Mission Earth, to provide opportunities for skill development and employment to every citizen under Mission Daksh, to develop a system for delivery of public services and effective redressal of people’s grievances and complaints under Mission Jan-Gan, all-round development of the villages of the state under Mission Gramodaya and all-round development of the cities of the state under Mission Nagarodaya. The work has been started after preparing its roadmap.
