Madhya Pradesh continues rescue work in Ganjbasoda

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has directed senior officers to carry out rescue and relief operations immediately in connection with the incident of some people falling into a well in Ganjbasoda of Vidisha district. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan took information about the incident after discussing with the Collector and the Superintendent of Police present at the spot and instructed to run the rescue operation at a fast pace. He said that SDRF and NDRF teams and necessary equipment are being transported from Bhopal for rescue and relief work. The district in-charge minister, divisional commissioner and IG have left for the incident site. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan is personally monitoring the ongoing rescue and relief operations at the site of the incident.

Directed for a high-level inquiry

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has directed for a high-level inquiry into the Ganjbasoda incident and to provide all possible medical assistance to the affected.
