New Delhi : Shahi Exports Private Limited Chairman Anand Padmanabhan and Vinod Kumar Yadav called on Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at Mantralaya today. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan discussed with the company’s delegation and talked about extending necessary cooperation for investment in the state. Principal Secretary Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Shri Sanjay Shukla was also present.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was informed that an investment of Rs 500 crore would be made in two phases by Shahi Exports Pvt. Ltd. in the garment sector. This will provide employment to 10 thousand persons.
Shahi Exports Private Limited was established in the year 1974. Apart from exporting garments, this company is also currently the largest apparel producer company in the country. Out of 1 lakh 20 thousand employees in the company, 70 thousand are women employees.
