India lights up the 2017 festival with Honda 2Wheelers

New Delhi:  Continuing its upwards sales momentum, Honda2Wheelers India has closed 2017 festival season with all time high festive retail. Increased customer demand saw Honda 2Wheelers India’s retails cross the 13.50 lac unit mark in the two months (September-October 2017). With this remarkable performance, Honda has broken its own previous 2016 festival retail high by significant 1 lac units.
Commenting on highest ever retails this festival season, Mr. Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. said, “The increased production capacity by 50,000 units per month ahead of the festival coupled with rapid network expansion, availability of models up to last mile network and 360 degree marketing push resulted in record festive retails. This festival, Honda has become the most preferred brand for million plus Indians. For Honda customers, the festivities will continue into November as GRAZIA- Honda’s brand new advanced urban scooter will be launched in India. So this November 8th, get ready to see the World in a new light.”

Highlights of October 2017:• Honda 2 Wheelers India started bookings for the new Honda CBR650F. With enhanced riding dynamics, aggressive styling and a wilder induction roar, the new CBR650F promises to take sports touring to the next level and at the same price of Rs. 7.30 lacs (ex-showroom New Delhi).
• Continuing the festive celebration, Honda announced commencement of bookings for its New Automatic Scooter ‘GRAZIA’. Developed on the concept of “Advanced Urban Scooter”, Honda’s GRAZIA is tailor-made for the young & confident cosmopolitan India of today.
• During the Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix, Honda group of companies in the Asia & Oceania region kicked off the “Honda Asian Journey 2017” a 570-km Honda big bike caravan that cruised through Peninsular Malaysia for four days, from October 26 to October 29, 2017, ending up at the MotoGP event.
• Taking its road safety commitment even further, Honda 2Wheelers India conducted the “Road Safety Inter School Bus Championship” activity at its 4 traffic parks in Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Karnal and Ludhiana. Through this mega activity, Honda spread road safety awareness to over 2,000 plus children.
