Financial Services conglomerate, IIFL Group today said that it is making a contribution of Rs 5crores to the PM Cares Fund instituted by the Government of India.
Mr Nirmal Jain, Founder, IIFL Group said that besides the contribution the company is also engaging its 18000+ employees as well to mobilise more support for this cause. Mr Jain appreciated the concerted efforts by the central and state governments and reiterated that it is through collective community efforts that we could overcome this situation.
He expressed his concerns about the health risk the frontline medical staff faces and the impact of Covid 19 on the Indian economy and the livelihood of millions of people and promised to continue supporting the efforts of the government in fighting coronavirus outbreak.
