New Delhi: Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) Paradeep Unit has bagged “National Safety Award -2018,” instituted by Directorate General Factory Advice Service & Labour Institutes– towards best performance for manufacture of chemicals and chemical products (including fertilizers) for Year 2018 from Govt. of India, Ministry of Labour & Employment .
Different Units (Plants) of IFFCO bagged several awards this year for excellence in different categories like Improvement in Overall performance of a Company, Best Production Performance (Nitrogen fertilizer), Environment Protection Award (without captive acids category), Research and Development /Innovation for Development of Nano Urea (Liquid) Fertiliser, Innovative work on Transfer of farm Technologies, Promotion and Marketing of Micronutrients in India; which is most prestigious of all awards. Apart from these accolades, Paradeep Unit received the National Safety Award for the Year 2018.This award for IFFCO Paradeep Unit was received by Shri K.J. Patel, Sr. Executive Director and Unit Head on 08.03.2022, during the award presentation function at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi from Sh Bhupender Yadav, Hon’ble Union Minister of Labour & Employment, Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Govt. of India in presence of Sh Rameshwar Teli, Hon’ble Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas , Govt. of India.
